For someone who lives in and represents a city with a major research university, it is amazing how anti-science Tom Latham can be. He is becoming a major leader in the House for the Republicans' push to deny that humans are causing climate change. And he wants to cut out research on the subject in the USDA budget. Iowa State University is leading the way in climate change research, and the cuts Latham is proposing would directly impact ISU and the Ames community. Thanks a lot, Tom!
